It was time to retire my trusty little 1998 Ford Escort. The maintenance to keep her running would of cost more than she was worth. So I decided that if I have to be single right now, I'm going to get a fun car. Why be practical? I have no dependents. No 4 door sedan or mini van for me. I decided to go a bit sporty. But I didn't want tiny. One little fender bender would total something like that. So no Mazda Miata. But I couldn't afford expensive. No BMW or Mercedes either. (OK, so I'm being just a little bit practical.) So here's what I got... a 2008 Candy Apple Red 2dr Premium Mustang Coupe. Here she is... introducing my new baby, "Stella".

Stella! What a perfect name! Congrats on the new car, Janet! How did you choose her name? Did she 'earn' her name somehow?
Nuh, huh!!!! Holy cow! Oh and Stella's a great name. So when are you roadtripping that baby to Idaho?
sorry, one more thing. I think you need to post a picture of you with the car.
How's Stella doing these days? Can you outrun other vehicles when you are first in line at a stop light? (I like when I can do that!)

Tell us more about Stella.... does she sleep in a garage, or is she a Street Lady? Does she like to go fast, or does she obey the law? Do you let your passengers have fries and soda pop inside her?
I think red is such a fun and sexy color in a car, especially if it’s this bright. I also really love the faces on Mustang’s cars, they look both serene, yet tough. How is Stella these days? Do you still have her, or have you bought a new car since? I’d love to see more pics of Stella!
